Foreign Students

     
They must have a valid passport and valid student visa.  
     
They must obtain equivalence certificate and eligibility certificate from Panjab University.  
     
Fee will be as per Panjab University guidelines.  
     

Foreign students will follow all rules and guidelines of Panjab University.

 
     

 

Rules for Withdrawal

     

A student who wishes to leave the college must apply in writing to the Principal and application must be countersigned by her father or guardian.

 
     
No student will be permitted to leave the college until she has cleared her college dues.  
     

A student has to pay the college fees and all other dues until her name is formally withdrawn.

For Courses offered by MCM (not covered under Centralised Admission) :

 

Duly filled application form, appended to the college prospectus, should be submitted. All the columns in the admission form must be filled. Incomplete forms will not be accepted. For Hostel Separate form is available in Hostel Prospectus.

 
   
New student should attach self-attested photocopies of the Following documents along with the application form :  

Detail Marks Certificates of all the results mentioned in Academic Record Column.
 

Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation).
 

Passport size photograph; pasted on the admission form.
 

Character certificate from the School / College last attended.
 
Proof of Seeking exemption in Punjabi Compulsory. (10th Standard Mark Sheet)
 
Anti-Ragging declaration must be signed by all students.
 

Affidavits required in College :

Gap year
, if any (A student having gap year  is required to furnish at the time of application an affidavit in duplicate, attested by the 1st class magistrate, that the student has not been disqualified by University / Board and has not been involved in any offence / unlawful activities during the gap years).

Girl Child Category affidavit (on a stamp paper worth Rs. 20/-) duly attested by a first class magistrate. Parents must declare that the benefit is being obtained for only one girl child in case of two girl children.

Reserved Category, if applicable

Relevant Certificates required (if applicable) :

Migration Certificate (for students of other Boards/ Universities)

Cancer, AIDS and Thalassaemia candidates must attach a certificate of proof from national
  Medical Institutes like PGI AIIMS etc.

Achievement in sports if seeking admission against sport seat.

Eligibility Certificate (for foreign students only)
 
Students seeking admission in Postgraduate course must attach self attested photocopies of the detailed mark sheets for all the three years of the graduate degree and Honours mark sheet must also be attached with the admission form.
 
Old students should attach a self-attested photocopy of the result of the preceding examination only.
 
A student whose result of +2 examination conducted by School Board is published late, but not later than 14th August, may be admitted without late fee within 15 working days of the declaration of the result and her attendance will be counted from the date of admission.
   
Migration Rules ______________________________________________________________
 
Candidates require Migration if :
They are from a University other than Panjab University.
 

They are from Boards / Councils / Bodies are other than CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh (For admission to undergraduate Semester I classes).
 

The candidates seeking migration must submit Original Migration Certificate along with the Original Certificate of lower examination passed by 15th September, 2017.
 

A migration fee shall be charged as per Panjab University guidelines .
 

Migration will not be permitted if the combination of offered by the student does not tally with the combination of the subjects offered in this college.
 

Mid-term migration from any other university is not allowed.
 

Migration of a student from a professional college to this college and vice-versa is not permissible.
 

When the migration of a student has been allowed, she must join the college within 15 days, otherwise her migration shall be considered as cancelled.
 

The college is entitled to the tuition fee for the month in which migration is sanctioned and the college to which she migrates is not entitled to charge fee for the fraction of that month.
 

 
Inter-College Migration _______________________________________________________  
   

Candidate from any other college affiliated to the Panjab University can migrate by seeking prior permission of the two Principals from institutes concerned. The candidate has to submit college leaving certificate from the previous college along with the other certificate.
